Renewable Heat Incentive to continue to at least 2021
As part of last weeks Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR), Chancellor George Osbourne provided long awaited confirmation that the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) would continue until at least 2021, with £1.15 Billion to be added to the schemes budget!
We will see a 10% reduction in Small Commercial Biomass from January 1st 2016, taking Ter 1 payments to 3.76p/kWh and a 20% reduction in the Domestic tariff to 5.14p/kWh.
The good news is we have no degression on the Medium and Large Commercial Biomass plants for the next quarter.
